For general contractors

Working with us

What we need to bid, what comes back, and how long it takes.

What we need to bid

  • Drawings — architectural, with the finish schedule
  • Specification — Division 09 at minimum
  • Addenda issued to date
  • Bid date and time
  • Scope of work or trade package description
  • Insurance requirements, if they differ from standard

If the finish schedule is not in the set, tell us. We will bid without it and say so in writing rather than quietly assuming a ceiling height.

What you get back

  • Lump sum
  • Unit prices for the items most likely to move
  • Written scope of work
  • Stated assumptions and clarifications
  • Exclusions by name, not by omission
  • Addenda acknowledged by number
  • Alternates where the specification allows one

Insurance

Certificates and COI process

General liability and workers compensation are in force. Certificates are issued per project through our carrier, naming the general contractor and owner as required by the subcontract. Additional insured and waiver of subrogation are available.

Send the insurance requirements with the bid invitation. We confirm compliance before award rather than discovering a limit mismatch during buyout.
